One of a kind – One-Year Warranty
We guarantee one-year warranty to make you feel safe in your purchase. Within velobike.co.uk we understand very well how important it is for our customers to have a secure warranty when paying for such quality goods.
Because we pride ourselves with high quality, if upon examination by velobike.co.uk authorized representative any part is found defective in either material or workmanship, we will take action. This is why we will perform repairs and replacements, free of charge.
What does our one-year warranty cover
To make it simple we provide a list of parts that fall under our warranty:
- Rubber components,
- Plastic components (except body).
Also, electronic assemblies including:
- Electronic controllers,
- Any other electrical subassembly.
Battery – six month warranty
Battery is covered by separate six-months warranty, provided by the battery manufacturer. The batteries are not warranted by velobike.co.uk. so do note that gradual deterioration in performance due to misuse is not covered. This includes:
- Leaving battery in a discharge state;
- Leaving battery in cold conditions for an extended period of time;
- Wearing battery out through heavy use.
What’s not covered by our one-year warranty
Velobike.co.uk does not provide warranty on any of the items that may require replacements due to normal wear and tear of day to day usage. Items that fall under this category include:
- Tires and tubes,
- ABS plastic shrouds,
- Upholstery and seating (armrest pads & seat cover)
- Motor brushes,
- Brake pads,
- Fuses and bulbs,
- Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without consent from velobike.co.uk.
The one-year warranty also excludes the following:
- Loss or theft,
- Damage by contamination
- Damage by abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence,
- Battery fluid spillage or leaking,
- Issues caused by improper operation, maintenance or storage.
- Damage by commercial use or other than normal,
- Damage by exceeding the weight capacity of the unit.
Our warranty does not cover repairs by an unauthorized person once the unit has been tampered with, or any other circumstances beyond the control of velobike.co.uk.
Inspection checks & service on order and warranty
To maintain your vehicle in top condition, periodic inspection checks should be done. They can be performed by any authorized mobility scooter or scooter workshop as per manual directions. Lack of necessary periodic inspections will exempt the purchaser from being eligible to velobike.co.uk one-year warranty service.

Service which falls under warranty can only be performed by velobike.co.uk and any third party cannot claim to perform warranty service without velobike.co.uk permission.
Expenses of service performed by velobike.co.uk outside of warranty are covered by the purchaser. To learn about cost associated with a service visit, please contact your authorized velobike.co.uk provider or visit velobike.co.uk website.
Do not return faulty parts to velobike.co.uk without prior contact and written authorization as all transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are your responsibility.
